Matt has 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley with a variety of start-up technology companies in both the hardware and software sectors. His companies have been domestic and international, private and public, and both large and small. .Prior to Kranz, Matt held a variety of Senior Financial Management positions at technology start-up companies in the areas of automotive, recruitment, gaming, online advertising, chips stacking and interconnect, loyalty marketing, and travel. Matt was the first financial executive at GetThere (formerly Internet Travel Network) where he helped lead the growth of the company from $.5M in revenue to over $15M and a successful IPO. Matt was an early employee at Conner Peripherals where he helped manage the growth of the company’s revenue from $100M to $2.4B producing storage solutions (hardware). He has been involved in raising equity, debt, IPO’s, Strategic Investments and M&A.

Matt is a native of Palo Alto and lives in Menlo Park. He received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of California at Berkeley and his MBA from the Johnson school at Cornell University. Matt is a big fan of the outdoors including fishing, hunting, harvesting mussels on the Half Moon Bay coast and hiking. Matt was called by the CEO of Breathometer during the Sharktank show (season 5, episode 2).

Andrew K. Dambrosio joined CBIZ in September 2012 as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining CBIZ, Mr. Dambrosio served as Controller and Executive Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for American Greetings Corporation’s North American Greeting Card Division from January 2004 through February 2012. Prior to joining American Greetings Corporation, Mr. Dambrosio was Corporate Controller for LESCO, Inc. from December 2000 through January 2004. Since beginning his career in 1979, Mr. Dambrosio has held various financial and accounting positions with companies representing a variety of industries, including American Greetings.COM, Picker International, Inc., Medusa Corporation and NACCO Industries, Inc. Mr. Dambrosio is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Patricia Freeman is the Vice President of Finance for Earthlink, an IT services, network and communications provider serving more than 150,000 businesses and 1 million U.S. consumers headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Freeman is responsible for long range financial planning, budgeting, financial systems and corporate reporting for Earthlink where she has worked for the last 3 years. Prior to that Ms. Freeman work for several telecom companies including Integra, Frontier and Electric Lightwave in various finance roles. Earthlink implemented Host Analytics Financial Planning and Reporting system two years ago under Ms. Freeman’s leadership.

As an analyst on the Applications Development & Delivery team at Forrester, Paul focuses on human resources management and financial applications, as well as trends and directions in the overall market for enterprise applications. Paul works extensively with both applications user clients (technology buyers) and vendor clients, internationally and across a wide variety of industries. Paul advises software vendors and services providers on product strategies, competitive dynamics, product capabilities, partnering strategies, and M&A opportunities.

Previous Work Experience

Paul came to Forrester through its 2003 acquisition of Giga Information Group. He has been an industry analyst for 12 years and has 30 years of overall experience in research and advisory services, management consulting, and systems integration. Prior to joining Forrester, Paul was a management consulting practice director with The Hunter Group, specializing in financial and human resources systems. He also held consulting management positions with Coopers & Lybrand and Ernst & Young, and he has served as a guest lecturer at Virginia Commonwealth University in its Executive Masters in Information Systems program for the past 5 years. Paul is frequently quoted in major media publications on industry trends in applications software, and is a frequent speaker on webcasts and industry events.

Education

Paul earned a B.A. in economics from Connecticut College and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified management accountant.

Paul is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of experience in chartered accounting and commerce. The last 10 years, Paul has been in leadership roles.

Paul is currently working for the St Vincent's Health Australia group of companies where he has worked for the past 14 years and has developed an extensive knowledge of health care and in particular the Private Hospital sector. Paul's roles at St Vincent's have included Corporate Services Manager at Holy Spirit Northside, where he was part of the executive team, where he was responsible for the management of 100 non-clinical staff, during a period of significant growth and improvement in financial performance. He then become the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Queensland Shared Services, where he was responsible for the management of 15 finance professionals. After a National review the Queensland Shared Services were recognised as providing high quality services, the role of shared services was expanded to provide finance and payroll services for all of the St Vincent's Private Hospitals and Aged Care facilities within Australia. He has recently become the Financial Controller for the Private Hospital Division, which is a newly created role. The drivers for this roles is the standardisation of finance related processes across the Private Hospital Division and the improvement of the information available for the Hospital's Executive teams.

Paul has a passion for challenging the status quo and looking at how technology can improve existing processes. He has lead the implementation of two new finance systems, two budget models and the automation of many month end reports. Paul has also lead projects migrating Hospitals from their existing finance system to the Shared Services finance system and processes. These changes have always involved extensive change management with the people affected.

An integral part of Paul's experience is in building partnerships with executive teams, clients and peers to understand the information they require to improve the financial performance of their businesses. He has re-engineered current reporting processes to ensure that Executives are receiving all of the information they require to meet their needs, on a timely basis.

Paul has been responsible for a variety of cost management initiatives which have resulted in significant reduction of operating costs for various Hospitals. These cost initiatives have involved labour management, including daily reporting of actual to budget labour management, in-sourcing the management of key functions and activity based costing of Doctors activity.

Paul has a desire to see the people in his teams succeed and likes to challenge them and take them out of their comfort zone, while providing adequate support to enable them to grow. He was one of only 16 people across the 17,000 employees of the St Vincent's Health Australia group selected to participate in the inaugural Executive Leadership Program, designed to develop the future leaders of St Vincent's Health Australia.

Rob heads up the CFO and business research focusing on the intersection of information technology with the finance organization and broader business applications. The financial performance management (FPM) research agenda includes the application of IT to financial process optimization and collaborative systems; control systems and analytics; and advanced budgeting and planning. Michael Trimarchi joined AngioDynamics in November 2013 bringing with him a proven track record of effectively balancing strategic management and hand-on execution in high-growth organizations. Trimarchi was promoted to Vice President and Global Controller in 2014 after leading AngioDynamics' financial, planning and analysis activities which saw significant enhancements to the company's operational and financial analysis capabilities. Prior to AngioDynamics, Michael held roles as Vice President of FP& A and Global Controller for VistaPrint(now Cimpress), in Boston, and as an assurance accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in Albany. Bob joined Steinway Musical Instruments as the CFO in July of 2015. Prior to joining Steinway, Bob spent over 20 years working in the Orthopedic industry where he served multiple disciplines including corporate finance, divisional finance, commercial operations, and sales force administration. Bob has worked for several large companies during his career including, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Honeywell, SPX Corporation, and Biomet. Bob obtained his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Manchester College and is a CPA. Prior to moving into industry finance roles, Bob spent nearly 6 years in public accounting working for the firm now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers as both a financial auditor and consultant. Bob and his family (wife Debbie and their two kids; Austin & Ashlyn) spent a few years in Inverness, Scotland on an Expat assignment working for LifeScan, J&J's diabetes business unit, where he served as the Finance Director.
